With more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Mike oversees the strategic direction and service quality of POLESTAR in his role as CEO and founder. From 1968 to 1996, Mike served as CEO and founder of publicly-traded PSICOR, the leading provider in the U.S. of open heart surgery perfusion services. Mike grew the company, its services and reputation and ultimately sold the business to Baxter International. Prior to its sale, PSICOR acquired Meditech Diagnostic Systems, and the company was renamed POLESTAR .  For more than a decade, Mike has been integral to POLESTAR’s growth and success – investing in and developing a sophisticated support system to be the leading partner for physicians establishing office-based laboratories.
